January 6 @ 12:00 pm - 11:30 pm | Free

The Tzamalaria is a traditional custom revived in the village Arnissa day of Epiphany .

A boy aged about 16-35 is dressed as a bride in a traditional local costume, two others of the same age are dressed as the bride’s brothers who are holding her and another is dressed as a bougainvillea and accompanied by a traditional orchestra they tour the whole village. In certain squares of the village the following event is represented: the beetle rushes to grab the bride, but the brothers throw him to the ground killed and share his body parts. Then the beetle gets up and they say a slogan that says: “black sheep, white milk bru bru” and so on.
