The ‘Musicaroi’ orchestra was created in 2002 in Ikaria by a group of friends on the occasion of their love for the Ikarian music tradition and in order to try to spread it, playing in the traditional festivals of Ikaria and throughout Greece. Nikos Fakaros and the orchestra ‘Musicaroi’ narrate their wandering in time with a musical journey through the Ikarian in all its variants, balls, trolls, aptalika, as well as waltz & tango. Starting from Ikaria, to the Cyclades, Evia, Northeast Aegean and Asia Minor, they promise to turn every appearance into an endless Ikarian summer festival!
